Board of Directors
Peakland Swim & Tennis Club is governed by a board of directors who volunteer their expertise and time to help make the summer season an enjoyable experience for all of our members. The Board is comprised of members of the pool, and meets monthly to discuss the financial and operational oversight of the pool.
Each board member serves a three-year term and may participate on a committee based on their interest or area of expertise. The Board is responsible for hiring management staff of the pool, who then handle the day-to-day operations of the pool, including lifeguards and snack shack.

About the Club
Peakland Pool is a membership-owned pool with excellent facilities for swimming that has been in operation since 1962. Peakland Pool has created a community environment where the 410 members and their families can find an escape from the summertime heat!
Peakland Pool is home to the always-competitive Peakland Otters Swim Team. Current Swim Team Coach, Greg Hofmann, and his very capable assistants are working hard this summer to compete at the highest levels in the Lynchburg Aquatic League swim events.
